The dream of a museum building was realized in 1988. Since I lived in Sint-Niklaas, the balloon stickers were soon separated from the other and, if possible, a photo was added to the correct sticker.<br>This was the start of the collection today. First we visited the balloon festivals in Belgium and the Netherlands. Germany, France, England and Luxembourg were also added to the list later on.<br>Today we are already all over the world. In addition to the basis of stickers and photos, the collection was quickly expanded to newspaper articles, pins and everything you can think of that has a (gas) balloon or zeppelin on it.
