The balloon - N10W known as the Yellow Wolf. Richard Nixon gave a speech near the balloon in Chester, Pennsylvania,  prior to campaigning through Eastern Pennsylvania.

Members of the Akron Balloon Club in Ohio brought their balloon to Pennsylvania for this flight. Pilot - Tony Fairbanks, Passengers Roger Wolcott, Dan Overs, Nica Fairbanks September 9, 1962, flew the 35,000, N2749A, for 1 hour. During the inflation, sticks were caught in the netting. To avoid a possible puncture of the envelope, Jean Fairbanks climbed the net to retrieve the sticks.

May 8, 1965 - A repair was needed prior to flying. Glue and material is carried in the chase vehicle in case repairs are needed.
