History of Ballooning Website

Visit the History of Ballooning website hosted by Kenny Blancquaert in Belgium.
” Hello, I am Kenny Blancquaert and together with the help of my parents I started collecting stickers of all kinds in 1990. Since I lived in Sint-Niklaas, the balloon stickers were soon separated from the other and, if possible, a photo was added to the correct sticker.
This was the start of the collection today. First we visited the balloon festivals in Belgium and the Netherlands. Germany, France, England and Luxembourg were also added to the list later on.
Today we are already all over the world. In addition to the basis of stickers and photos, the collection was quickly expanded to newspaper articles, pins and everything you can think of that has a (gas) balloon or zeppelin on it. You can get a picture of our collection under the heading “Collection” .
