Written by  Michael Fairbanks. He self published 1200 copies in 1979 by Dorrance & Company, Ardmore, Pennsylvania.

This book was published as a tribute to Anthony ‘Tony’ Fairbanks.

This is the story of the Cleveland Balloon Club (1931 to 1939) and the Balloon Club of America (incorporated in 1952). There is a photo display of ballooning history with sixteen line-drawings by sister, Jean Fairbanks.

Tony Fairbanks and his son, Michael Fairbanks, continued flying and making history in the sport of ballooning long after this was published..
