Alps – Third Flight – 1971

This flight was sponsored by the National Observer – A National Weekly Newspaper

Take off from Stechelberg, Switzerland and landed in Dasio, Italy.

Pilot – Tony Fairbanks, Passenger – William Lewis. They flew the 35,000 cu. ft.  HB-BOO Circus-Knee balloon for 3 hours and 30 minutes.

The National Observer Weekly Newspaper wrote a series of articles about Tony Fairbanks and his flight over the Alps.
